MINECRAFT Madness

I'm back and boy am I excited! I did some major soul-searching after the new year because I felt like something was missing.  After having my second child (who wasn't the easiest) and then teaching through Covid, I was overwhelmed and really gave up on creating and blogging.  After lots of reflecting I realized that spark that was missing was the creative side, which I had neglected. Well, I am ready to share, create, and spark new ideas around classroom instruction and hope you will join this journey with me!

I am so excited to share some new products and a freebie that will be sure to keep your kiddos engaged during learning.  If your students are anything like mine they are obsessed with all things Minecraft and Roblox, so I created some fun-themed games/centers to reach my student's interests. The first activity is my Minecraft CVCe game.  This is a fast-paced game that could be played as a word work review game or even as a partner center. The best part is that it includes an editable version to make the cards work for your student's needs.  You could even switch it up and use it as a math facts review.  The options are endless. You can snag this by clicking the image, which will take you directly to my TpT shop.

We are getting ready to start our measurement unit soon, so I created a fun non-standard measurement activity that could be used as a measure-the-room or a tabletop center.  I love that the kids use creepers to measure each character! This is 100% ready to use, which makes it pretty darn easy. You can snag this below!

Of course, I wanted to give you a fun freebie to try with your kids! This Minecraft syllable sort will be perfect for a quick check, review activity, or word work center station.  Click the picture to take you directly to the download through Google Drive!

If you purchase any of these activities or download the freebie be sure to let me know what you think! Happy teaching and I can't wait to share all my classroom happenings with you! Be sure to follow me on Facebook and subscribe to my email, so you don't miss all the fun things!!!
