Freebie Friday, labeling, & more!

This week sure was busy for being a short week!  I am happy for the long weekend with family and my kids are probably happy about enjoying this weather while it lasts.  To celebrate it being FRIDAY I have a sample unit I am letting my blogger friends try out.  I decided to make a Sight Word Buddy Games unit for both first grade and kindergarten words.  I noticed that there are still a lot of my kiddos that don’t know all their kindergarten words, so I decided to make some fun games to play the first few weeks of school to help refresh their memory.  I think we all know that most kids prefer to play and have fun in the summer, not read and practice sight words! My hope is that these games will be fun and helpful in mastering those words.

This was a fun one for my kiddos that went to see the A+ tutor this week.  I gave our high school helper a few of the games provided in the pack and the kids loved this one!

You can snag this free sample pack with grade K review words by clicking here.

We worked on labeling this week in Treasures and we created this cute anchor chart that I found on Pinterest, only I had the kids add the labels on the cat.  They loved the chart and the little books they created below.  This activity was rom my Unit 2 activity pack.  You can find this here.
